Tuğsal Moğul

Tuğsal Moğul was born 1969 in Neubeckum. He holds degrees in acting, directing, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine, for which he studied, in parallel and over the course of nine years, medicine in Hannover, Vienna, and Lübeck, as well as acting at the Conservatory for Music, Theater and Media in Hannover. Mogul works part-time in a teaching hospital in Münster, and performed in film and on the stage, he also writes and directs plays. His debut play Semi-Strong Demigods earned him an invitation to the Heidelberger Stückemarkt in 2011. This play is told from the doctors' perspective, but his follow-up play gives voice to patients in an intensive care unit. Both texts were developed in collaboration with his theater company "Operation". In 2013 his play The German Ayse was invited to the festival "Made in Germany" in Stuttgart.
