Günter Senkel

Günter Senkel (born in 1958 in Neumünster) has worked as a poster gluer, long distance lorry driver and drinking bottle sorter. He gave up his Physics degree to run his own bookshop in Kiel where he has lived as a freelance writer since 1997. He has co-written several film scripts with Feridun Zaimoglu, including Brandmal which received the Schleswig Holstein Media Fund Award in 1998.
