Completing his medical trilogy, Tuğsal Moğul focuses – after doctors in Halbstarke Halbgötter (Semi-strong Demigods) and patients in Somnia – on the families of the patients, because their lives also change radically. If all goes well, they will be sitting by the bedside and give pep talks. But just as often, they persistently have to fight for the proper treatment and sometimes have to make far-reaching decisions. Without any prior experience, they turn into caregivers, tenderly looking after the patients, or refuse all responsibility, with which they were unwillingly burdened, torn between feeling overwhelmed or guilty, between a sense of duty and being afraid of their own mortality.
