Of Late, Wrath
(In letzter Zeit Wut)
4F / 1-2M
In the engine room of a social media giant, four women sort out the images that don’t fit the desired reality: «animal cruelty, swastikas, penises. Especially penises.» Every now and again a man, Horst, comes by to highlight the benefits of their workplace: snack machines, flat hierarchies and, of course, Horst’s full support. Shared cynicism and sheer existential angst keep Ellen, Regan, Nancy and Kirsty in line, until one day the prototype of a reality-generating tool falls into their hands. Suddenly they have power over reality. Euphorically, the four of them throw lots of perceptions (of women) onto the scrap heap of history – but what should take their place? An island of Amazons, a women’s state? Aren’t these all bourgeois fantasies? Where do new images come from that are not fed by the old ones – and do women even all want the same thing?
