Spa Guerilla
A Ballet For Invalids
(Kur-Guerilla)
3F / 4M
In a stylish Spa, five patients with back problems are battling against early disablement with the help of gymnastics and massage. But the insurance companies have to cut back: one of them must leave, either as cured, or otherwise to go under a surgeon's knife. None will volunteer to give up their spot, so they decide to have a vote. Immediately the battle to preserve one's invertebral disks begins - there are a few attempts of collusion before the vote, to avoid unpleasant surprises. The seemingly democratic process turns into a disaster. A general show of purposeful solidarity to oppose these budget cuts seems their last hope. But is it truly possible to seriously go on strike while sitting on gym balls?
World premiere
