Eleven (in the Stockholm version 13) bagatelles: short scenes from a grotesquely tragic every-day life. A couple of newlyweds seem lost at home: in all their joy they forgot to invite guests to their wedding. A man receives a package by courier: "worldwide disarmament.... the most important screws of the two super powers. Without those nothing works.“, because a computer program selected him as one of the most inconspicuous people on earth. A genius scientist who, on the verge of his biggest triumph, committed suicide to eliminate every last trace of his dangerous invention, encounters Nothingness in the afterlife, a miserable bore he feels tied to forever. In quick snapshots Strauss makes pretense and reality collide and create comedic sparks.
