Nicole Armbruster

Nicole Armbruster was born in 1975 in Baden-Württemberg. She studied at the Konrad Wolf School of Film and Television in Potsdam. She is a freelance scriptwriter. Her script for the film Festung was awarded the 2010 Thomas Strittmatter Scriptwriting Award. Together with Marc Brummund, she received the German Scriptwriting Award, the Emden Scriptwriting Award and the Prix Genève for the historical drama Freistatt. In 2017, To Hell With Everyone Else was turned into a film directed by Stefan Krohmer that won the Baden-Württemberg Film Prize.
