«Develop a vision for the future» was the homework assignment - and so one morning in the year 2034, five kids are standing at their usual bus stop in the middle of nowhere with hand-crafted planets in their luggage. But the bus that is supposed to take them to school emits smoke, the second bus is programmed not to overtake the first, cell phone reception is shaky, and so they are stuck. Should they get on the smoking bus and hope for the best? Take the second bus back? Look for better reception and get help? While they are still debating, a storm rolls in. What was only uncomfortable at first now becomes threatening. One planet after another falls victim to heavy rain, fire or voracious cows, and the children don't escape unscathed either. Somehow, the five of them have to work together, and it's not that easy.
«Despite the charged topic, Kirsten Fuchs provides humorous insights into the souls of her young people and their individual strategies. She puts the five protagonists in an increasingly absurd and hopeless situation, so that they have no choice but to find a solution together.» (Berliner Zeitung)
«The play ... shows a lot of sensitivity for the everyday reality of young people, but is also blessed with a lot of humor. This earned enthusiastic applause at the premiere.» (Berliner Morgenpost)
