Kunstrasen
2F / 3M
From his shop for “living interiors and lifestyle design,” Ruben wants to organize the lives of his customers, even as his own life is gradually slipping from his grasp. His relationship to his new boyfriend Viktor, a TV presenter, remains strangely non-committal. His chief purchaser, Anton, has disappeared and keeps sending bizarre furniture deliveries from a distance. On top of this, Anton seems to be blackmailing Emilia over a videotape. Something has gotten out of control, and, without the slightest warning, Ruben is in the firing line of a conspiracy that he alone does not see through. Written in a laconic Raymond Chandler or Dashiell Hammett “hard-boiled” thriller style, Kunstrasen is a puzzle about truth, self-deception and deceit in which truth is not necessarily a desirable state.
