Wir schweben wieder

While Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez embarks on a tirade against the economic and ecological ills of our time at a world climate conference, four people in western Europe are dealing with their own individual problems. Maria is obsessed with improving herself; Bruno suddenly and literally sees his life through the eyeglasses of his dead father; Edith works as a stripper to pay for her languages course at uni; and Carl has suffered through not only every psychiatric illness going but also the respective therapy and just wants to die. But as he tries to hang himself from a tree near the river, he is discovered by Maria, Bruno and Edith, whose attempt to save him has unforeseen consequences.
