Felix Krakau, born in Hamburg in 1990, studied Theater Directing at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and, as a guest student, Scenic Writing at the Berlin University of the Arts. He has worked as a director and playwright at various prestigious theaters such as the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Volkstheater Vienna, Theater Bremen, Schauspielhaus Vienna, Schauspiel Essen, and the Augsburg and Darmstadt State Theaters. His work has been recognized with various awards, including the Körber Studio Young Director's Prize and the 3rd Else Lasker Schüler Play Prize. Additionally, he has received residency fellowships from the Roger Willemsen Foundation, the Hessischer Literaturrat, and the Künstlerhaus Lukas Ahrenshoop.
